Responsibilities

The Safety Manager in Rahway, NJ supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety. This role provides safety oversight for a variety of ongoing projects across a multi-trade construction environment. The Safety Manager will lead daily site safety practices, monitor compliance, conduct audits, and support field teams to maintain a proactive safety culture.

  • Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Perform jobsite inspections and internal safety audits
  • Lead and document incident investigations
  • Create and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Health & Safety Plans (HASPs)
  • Provide on-site coaching to subcontractors and trade partners
  • Ensure adherence to all company and regulatory safety standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years direct construction safety experience required
  • Pharma experience a plus
  • Working knowledge pharmaceutical safety protocols
  • OSHA 510 required 
  • Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Great verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range

$95,000-110,000

Travel | Relocation
