Environmental Safety Specialist | Millsboro, DE

The Environmental Safety Specialist supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

• Conduct weekly hazardous waste inspections and monthly SPCC inspections

• Coordinate hazardous waste pick-ups and ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation

• Prepare and submit required environmental reports

• Track and report corporate environmental data

• Perform facility safety and environmental audits to ensure OSHA & EPA compliance

• Support training and communication on environmental and safety programs

• Knowledge of hazardous waste, SPCC, and air quality compliance programs

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred

• Excellent verbal and written skills
