The Environmental Safety Specialist supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.
Conduct weekly hazardous waste inspections and monthly SPCC inspections
Coordinate hazardous waste pick-ups and ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation
Prepare and submit required environmental reports
Track and report corporate environmental data
Perform facility safety and environmental audits to ensure OSHA & EPA compliance
Support training and communication on environmental and safety programs
Knowledge of hazardous waste, SPCC, and air quality compliance programs
Strong organizational and communication skills
OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred
