Responsibilities

HazTek is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager in Watertown, MA to support a large-scale construction project in the Watertown, MA area. This position will oversee daily safety operations on an active union construction site and work closely with project leadership, contractors, and field personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and site requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily safety oversight for ongoing construction activities.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with site safety policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee orientations.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
  • Support project leadership in promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client-specific safety requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
  • Previous data center construction experience required.
  • Experience working on active commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and medium-voltage construction environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

Required Certifications

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction
  • First Aid/CPR
  • NFPA 70E

Additional Information

  • Overtime available as needed.
  • Weekend work expected.
  • Travel and per diem available for qualified candidates.

Pay Range

$110,000-130,000

Travel | Relocation
