The use of hands-free devices and voice command systems while driving create cognitive distractions for drivers as they mentally engage with interactive tasks. Hands-free does not mean risk-free. While hands-free options may be marginally safer than handheld devices, eliminating distractions from cell phones and other technology while driving is the safest choice. Program your phone and infotainment system before you begin driving.

Drive without distractions — your life is worth more than any call, text, or playlist.

This April, Distracted Driving Awareness Month helps bring attention to the importance of eliminating driving distractions in order to make our roadways safer for everyone. Keep yourself and others around you safe and #JustDrive.
