Congratulations to Safety Professional Mike Rooney who was recently honored as HazTek’s Employee of the Month for October 2020! Mike was nominated by colleague Scott McMaster who praised Mike for the exceptional job that he does in providing daily field support to the five construction managers and dozens of sub-contractors at our client’s sites in Pennsylvania and Delaware. “Mike demonstrates strength in hazard recognition and prevention and a commitment to the safety of workers. He often identifies potential compliance and risk issues and puts a ‘stake in the ground’ when necessary to ensure compliance.” Scott went on to say, “Mike does an excellent job in teaching and mentoring his fellow safety professionals, construction managers, and workers to help them succeed.”
