HazTek is spotlighting Safety Professional Chris Kirby who joined our team last year. Chris has been in the safety industry for 48 years and started his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he earned his education. Earlier in his career, he worked as an EHS Professional for Space Shuttle operations until the Challenger disaster. After that, he left to work for DuPont and earned the "Gold Plumb Bob" for construction safety excellence. A native Floridian, Chris is married with 4 kids and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys traveling — and has traveled to over 50 countries — as well as flying airplanes (but would never jump out of one). Additionally, Chris belongs to a national Law Enforcement motorcycle club.
