HazTek is spotlighting Safety Professional Francis Mayo who joined our team last year and works out of our Northeast region. Francis grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and studied at one of the top colleges in Nigeria. He spent three years at his first job, working as a safety officer in Nigeria. He then traveled to Doha, Qatar, where he worked as an HSE officer on one of the largest construction projects in Doha — the Abraj Quartier 01 and 02 which includes a 48-story building and an 11-level parking podium. Before coming to the U.S., Francis also worked as a deputy HSE manager on the Doha Oasis project, a mixed-use development that combines residential units, a 28-floor hotel tower, a shopping mall, and an amusement park.

Francis loves watching movies and spending time with his family. He’s a huge football (soccer) fan and he enjoys watching — as well as playing — the game. We’re thrilled to have you on the HazTek team, Francis!
