HazTek would like to spotlight Safety Professional Marsha Oluwagbamila who joined our team last year, working out of our Northeast region. Marsha is a mother of three and a veteran of the U.S. Army. She began her construction career in 2013 as a laborer and has been in some form of safety for the past 20 years. Her construction safety career started as a craft safety advisor, later serving on the jobsite safety committee. Marsha enjoys connecting with the crews out in the field and breaking down the barrier of workers feeling uncomfortable when the safety person comes around — she likes it when the workers approach her about a safety concern rather than having them take the chance of performing an unsafe act. Marsha loves to travel and her favorite places are anywhere with a beach and clear water. We’re happy to have you aboard, Marsha!
