HazTek is spotlighting Safety Professional Tammy Bennett who joined our team last year. Tammy has been in the construction industry for 26 years, starting out on a water truck and moving from being a superintendent to project manager to safety professional. Over the course of her career, she has won four Texas Mutual Platinum Safety awards — which are given to those that demonstrate a commitment to safety in the workplace by implementing an organized safety plan and effectively managing workers' compensation losses. She currently teaches the construction safety program at Collin College in Texas. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and likes to sew and embroider in her free time. We’re excited to have you on the HazTek team, Tammy!
