HazTek is spotlighting Safety Professional Tim Holmstedt who joined our team last year and works out of our Strategic Accounts group. Tim served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years, earning several medals and commendations. Tim was a founding partner in a safety training and consulting business where his work with insurance companies led to overseas contract work in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. He has also worked in concrete, sand, and gravel operations, as well as demolition. Tim and his wife have five children and five grandchildren, and he says that his family is his “why” — why he does everything and anything. Tim enjoys working out at a local CrossFit gym and completes the Murph Challenge twice a year, on or around Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The challenge is one of the CrossFit “hero” workouts and honors Lt. Michael Murphy who lost his life while serving in Afghanistan.
