This week, HazTek is featuring several of our employees who have served — or continue to serve — in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Safety Professional Marc Lumbroso was a Petty Officer First Class in the U.S. Navy and continues to serve in the Navy Reserves. He is in his 13th year of service. Marc’s favorite experience while serving was discovering Africa for the first time — he says that it was mind blowing. His Africa assignment got him into safety full time, starting as a HAZMAT coordinator. Through the military, Marc was able to get his OSHA training, his World Safety Organization membership, and secret clearance that opened the gate to safety jobs in Department of Defense facilities.
