This week, HazTek is featuring several of our employees who have served — or continue to serve — in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Safety Professional Howard Klein served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 16 years, served in the National Guard for four years, and also worked as a civilian GS-11 for the U.S. Army at Fort Dix, NJ for a year and a half before coming to HazTek. Howard joined the Army because his contract provided him the role of Airbourne/Ranger — and the other branches of the military could not guarantee that position. His favorite experience was working closely with the Special Operations Community in all branches of the military. His team became a close family because the experiences they had were beyond belief.
Howard says his time in the military taught him to stay calm; deal with people from all walks of life; and make fast, sound decisions when necessary. These skills offer immense value in his safety career.

We are privileged to work with all of our veterans, and we appreciate the significant contributions that they bring to our company. Thank you for your service, Howard.
