This week, HazTek is featuring several of our employees who have served — or continue to serve — in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Safety Professional Israel Emanuel Arredondo served as a Senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years. Israel decided to join the Air Force because of his interest in Air Traffic Control. His favorite memory from serving was getting the opportunity to live in Misawa Air Base in Japan and work with Japanese nationals. Being in the military taught Israel leadership, which has helped him tremendously in his safety career. Also, his career as a Weapons Director (guiding aircraft in the Air Force is useful, as he is becoming drone pilot certified.
