This week, HazTek is featuring several of our employees who have served — or continue to serve — in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Safety Professional Kevin Sedlak served in the U.S. Navy for five and a half years, working his way up to Petty Officer Second Class. After leaving the Navy, he served in the California Air National Guard as a Base Safety Office and the Rhode Island National Guard as a Squadron and Group Safety Non-Commissioned Officer. In his vast experience, Kevin deployed to places such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Yemen, and the Persian Gulf during hostilities with Iran. While in the National Guard during the Second Gulf War, he flew personnel and equipment to the operations theatre in the Middle East and was activated during 9/11 for Operation Noble Eagle. Kevin retired from military service after 24 years.
