This week, HazTek is featuring several of our employees who have served — or continue to serve — in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Safety Professional Jarrod Tomassi (pictured on left) served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army for seven years. Although everything eventually worked out for the best, Jarrod had originally wanted to join the U.S. Air Force, but was “tricked” into choosing the Army by a recruiter. Jarod’s favorite memory from the military is coming home in his class A uniform and making himself and his family proud. His time in the service helped him in his safety career because he learned a lot about teamwork, planning and strategy, crisis management, and diversity.
