In our recent HazTek Safety-In-Review e-newsletter, we featured an article from EHS Today titled, “OSHA Switches from Hard Hats to Safety Helmets.” The article features the announcement from OSHA about this switch and the reasons behind it — primarily, to better protect workers when they are on inspection sites. The article also covers the various industries that should utilize these helmets, including the construction industry and oil and gas industry.
