Happy Memorial Day weekend! Since it’s the unofficial start of the summer season, we hope that you enjoy the long weekend and spend time with family and friends.

While we do hope that everyone has fun this weekend, we also ask that you take time to remember the reason for the Memorial Day holiday. Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America.

The National Moment of Remembrance Act encourages Americans to pause at 3 p.m. local time each Memorial Day to remember the brave men and women who have died while serving our great country.
