National Electrical Safety Month | May 2021

The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to promoting electrical safety in the home, school, and workplace. To commemorate National Electrical Safety Month each May, ESFI spearheads an annual campaign to educate audiences about the steps that can be taken in order to reduce the number of electrically-related fires, fatalities, injuries, and property losses.

According to OSHA, contact with electricity is one of the leading causes of construction workplace fatalities. Although temporary power is essential to construction worksites, it also poses a great risk to workers.
