In support of the roadway safety industry and “Go Orange Day,” HazTek Safety Professional Santiago “Curly” Medina was wearing orange at his project site in Wyoming!
“Go Orange Day” was created to help promote safety in work zones during National Work Zone Awareness Week and to show support for the roadway safety industry, especially to the families of victims who have lost their lives in work zones.
National Work Zone Awareness Week is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season that encourages safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.
