Thank you to HazTek Safety Professional Ana Ortiz for leading a safety stand-down event at our client’s site in Frederick, Maryland, last week. Ana spoke to the crew — in both English and Spanish — about project safety, and HazTek provided breakfast for the group. Safety Week and the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction were two construction safety events held last week, May 3 – 7th, to help raise safety awareness in the construction industry.
