Thank you to HazTek Safety Professional Austin Post for taking part in a Safety Stand-Down event at our client’s site in Des Moines, Iowa. The team led a fall protection training workshop that included live demonstrations featuring different types of harnesses/lanyards in the event of a fall. There was also a focus on and self-rescue methods and site “stretch and flex” to reduce injuries on the job.

The National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction was a construction safety event that occurred May 1 – 5th, to help raise safety awareness in the construction industry.
