Thank you to HazTek team member David Jennings (not pictured) for organizing and taking part in a Safety Stand-Down event at our client’s site in Wenatchee, Washington. The management and safety teams organized a vendor’s day that included a fall protection demonstration and hand safety demonstration. The topics for the daily all-hands meetings throughout the week were communication, hazard awareness, suicide prevention/mental health, situational awareness, ergonomics, and physical health.

The National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction is a construction safety event occurring May 6 – 10th, to help raise safety awareness in the construction industry.
