Thank you to HazTek Operations Manager John Crain for taking part in a Safety Stand-Down event at our client’s site in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The HazTek safety team presented sessions focusing on mental health awareness.

The sessions were used to highlight messages on improving and managing daily challenges, identify resources available to those in need, and emphasize how much physical and mental health affects our everyday situational awareness and decision-making skills. Jennifer Gabel, owner & CEO of JK Crane and founder of the Construct Your Health, presented a workshop to help identify eight key touchpoints that can be used as measurable benchmarks in improving both physical and mental health every day.

The National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction was a construction safety event that occurred May 1 – 5th, to help raise safety awareness in the construction industry.
