HazTek Safety Professional Connie St. John started working in construction with her father, right after she graduated from high school forty years ago. Connie first started in safety while she worked on building pipelines all over the United States. She had been inspired to take safety classes on her own and then became even more involved in the safety aspect of construction. Connie has now been working in the safety industry for almost twelve years.

Connie is pictured below, on the far right, with a few of her colleagues from her project in San Antonio, Texas. We thank Connie for her commitment to safety and for all of the knowledge that she brings to HazTek.

In honor of Women in Construction Week, HazTek is featuring several of our safety professionals who work out in the field.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) created Women in Construction (WIC) Week to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry and as an occasion for the thousands of NAWIC members across the country to help raise awareness of the growing role of women in the construction industry and the opportunities available to them.

HazTek’s Inc. is a leading provider of comprehensive safety management services with a mission to enrich the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, our customers, and our communities.
