HazTek Safety Professional Tess Mulligan started her career as a Safety Professional after many years in the healthcare field. She is an Emergency Medical Technician and helping people is one of her greatest passions. Tess joined HazTek last year and says that the experience of working as a Safety Professional on a construction site has been phenomenal and she feels that she’s using her skills to make a difference in people’s lives. Her goal is to keep the workers on her project site safe and healthy and, each day, she greets them with a smile and a pleasant thought to start their workday. Tess is proud to be a HazTek employee saying, “HazTek is an amazing company.” She also gives a special shout-out to her supervisor, HazTek Operations Manager Jeff Mylott, saying, “Jeff is tremendous in his job. He’s supportive and it means a great deal to have a boss like him.”

Thank you for your positive attitude, Tess — we’re thrilled to have you on the HazTek team!

In honor of Women in Construction Week, HazTek is featuring several of our safety professionals who work out in the field.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) created Women in Construction (WIC) Week to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry and as an occasion for the thousands of NAWIC members across the country to help raise awareness of the growing role of women in the construction industry and the opportunities available to them.

HazTek Inc. is a leading provider of comprehensive safety management services with a mission to enrich the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, our customers, and our communities.
