We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager in Atlanta, GA who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 7 years of construction field experience with leadership skills in managing general contractors highly preferred. Supervise project superintendents, foremen, and crews to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and timelines. Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to address unforeseen delays or issues. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, conducting regular safety audits and meetings to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and address any challenges. Review and approve work progress, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with contract documents and quality standards. Resolve any field issues that may arise, including scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, or technical challenges. Oversee labor, equipment, and material usage to ensure optimal efficiency and cost control. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide on-site leadership and problem-solving Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project status, including updates on budgets, schedules, and any deviations from the plan.
