Responsibilities

The Safety Manager in the Boston, MA region supports specific client needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance
  • Lead and facilitate daily safety meetings to promote a culture of safety
  • Manage and conduct detailed accident reports and investigations to ensure comprehensive incident management
  • Strategically oversee daily safety audits and inspections to maintain high safety standards
  • Provide leadership in overseeing all subcontractors and contractors to ensure safety compliance
  • Strategically oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation to ensure compliance and safety

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience with knowledge of safety standards required 
  • Experience in pharmaceutical construction preferred
  • Degree in a safety related field preferred
  • OSHA 30-hr in Construction
  • OSHA 510/500 a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
