Responsibilities

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an Environmental Safety Specialist in Bristol, PA to support field-based environmental remediation and hazmat operations. This role will provide onsite safety oversight ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and site-specific safety protocols during active remediation activities.

 

This is a hands-on field position supporting daily site operations involving excavation activities, hazardous materials, and regulated work environments.

 

  • Lead daily health & safety tailgate meetings
  • Provide onsite safety oversight for remediation and excavation activities

  • Maintain safety documentation and compliance paperwork

  • Support confined space entry and air monitoring activities

  • Coordinate daily safety efforts with Site Superintendent and project teams

  • Promote safe work practices and compliance with site safety requirements

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of safety experience supporting environmental, remediation, construction, or industrial projects

  • HAZWOPER 40 certification required

  • OSHA 30 preferred

  • Ability to pass Hazmat physical and respirator fit testing

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a field environment
